NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND ADVOCACY COLLABORATIVE
Welcome to NNEAC!
We are a rural, multi-state collaborative (VT, ME, NH) in Northern New England that connects pediatric residencies with state AAP chapters, legislators, and parent groups to promote advocacy and curricula development. We identify common issues associated with performing advocacy, share solution strategies, and learn from each other.
Vision
All children in Northern New England deserve safe and nurturing communities that promote resilience, embrace equity and opportunity, and allow them to reach their maximum potential.
Mission
Support Northern New England pediatric residency programs and AAP Chapters in a collective effort to:

Train pediatricians to be life-long advocates through rich learning experiences and skill development

Develop and share progressive curricula that are culturally sensitive and community specific

Foster collaboration with community partners as fundamental to the work of ALL pediatricians
